Genesis' Story
Genesis just received a pediatric medical bed that gives her a protected space for her to sleep.
Genesis experiences seizures that can cause interrupted sleep. And while her family could provide short term solutions like a guardrail, she really needed a bed large enough so her arms and legs couldn't get stuck between a mattress or bruise with involuntary movements.
After being denied their request for a bed by insurance, we took matters into our own hands at Mariah’s Miracle. Today, Genesis’ pediatric medical bed not only gives her more comfort and promotes independence, but allows her family to be more at ease at night knowing that Genesis is safe.
