Say a big hello to our dear Lorenzo! Last year, Lorenzo was in need of a custom cranial helmet to help to correct the shape of his skull and advance his physical development. Cranial helmets are only effective within the first year of child life when the head shape isn't fully formed. If not treated, this can lead to noticeable facial asymmetry, jaw misalignment resulting in a crossbite or underbite and safety helmets fitting improperly.After Lorenzo’s family was denied by insurance, they were faced with the burden of having to pay out-of-pocket for a treatment that if not done, could have had lasting impacts on their son. 

For Mariah’s Miracle that wasn’t an option. Fortunately, we were able to take the lead and provide Lorenzo with the cranial technology that helped gently reshape the shape of his head.
