At four years old, Lynette can convey basic wants and needs with gestures, signs and minimal words, but she’s limited in how she communicates with others. Without the aid of a speech device, Lynette would not be able to improve her verbal skills or voice emotional needs and desires, ultimately leaving her to fall further behind her peers and impeding her developmental journey. After being denied insurance, Lynette’s family was left with the financial strains of purchasing this vital equipment that would significantly enhance her life. 

Luckily, we were able to step in. Soon after learning of Lynette’s challenges, we were able to provide her with a speech therapy device and TouchChat programming that will help advance her communication skills and allow her to properly express herself.
