Noelle's Story

1

Noelle's story has been truly inspirational, as she's overcome tremendous hurdles to meet some of her monumental milestones. Noelle has cerebral palsy and at two years old she was learning to walk independently with the help of physical therapy. In order to make significant strides, Noelle needed the aid of an Ankle-Foot Orthosis, which is a brace that attaches to the lower leg to help support the joints and keep them in neutral position for walking. The path to getting this type of medical equipment was met with obstacles as the request was denied by their insurance. With the weekly therapy sessions coupled with out-of-pocket medical equipment costs, expenses critical for Noelle’s progress were beginning to feel insurmountable for her family.

Fortunately, Mariah’s Miracle was able to step in and gifted her Ankle-Foot Orthosis needed to advance her developmental journey. She’s now able to take over 20 steps independently and was able to move forward with therapy that focused on strengthening her core, empowering her to meet more milestones in a shorter period of time!

With such remarkable headway, we're so excited to see the future unfold for Noelle.
