Our mission is to provide assistance to cover the cost of pediatric patients’ needed therapy and equipment when insurance will not. Our vision is that every Arizona child receives the services and resources critical to living a full life! We are a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. Tax ID:85-3162245

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to live a full life! Some children need specialized equipment and/or therapy to ensure this happens. Unfortunately, needed services and resources are costly, and too often insurance denies coverage. Therefore, Mariah’s Miracle was founded!

Who We Are

On March 23, 2020, Kids Place lost our beloved pediatric physical therapist Mariah Devries to cancer. Mariah joined Kids Place West in January 2018 after graduating from Northern Arizona University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She quickly became a favorite among her many pediatric patients and coworkers. Mariah married the love of her life, Brian, in 2017, and the two found out they were pregnant with their first child in 2019. Toward the end of her pregnancy, Mariah learned she had an aggressive form of cancer called epithelioid angiosarcoma that had already spread to her liver, ovaries, rib cage, spine, and brain.

At 26 years old, Mariah became a new mother, giving birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Clara, on January 19, 2020. At a time when new mothers should be bonding, nursing, and taking care of their infant, Mariah fought for her life and more time. We still struggle every day to learn how to live on Earth without her but take comfort knowing Mariah’s legacy will live on forever through her family, her beautiful daughter Clara, and the countless friends, coworkers, people, and children she touched in her short time.

On April 25th, Arizona Rattlers are teaming up with Mariah’s Miracle for a special night of football, fun, and giving back! Every ticket purchased through this partnership directly supports Mariah’s Miracle and helps us provide critical medical equipment and therapies for Arizona children when insurance falls short. Join us for an exciting night at the game while making a meaningful impact in the lives of local families. We can’t wait to cheer alongside you and make miracles happen together!

Boots, Bags & BBQ Cornhole Tournament

Join us on April 11th for Mariah’s Miracle’s Annual Cornhole Tournament at Chicken N Pickle!
Bags fly at 10:00 AM for a high-energy day filled with friendly competition, great food, and meaningful impact. Teams of all skill levels are invited to toss, compete, and connect—all while helping raise critical funds for children with special needs in our community. With music, prizes, and plenty of fun off the boards too, this is an event you won’t want to miss! 🎯💜

Sip, Shop & Shine

Join us for Sip, Shop & Shine 2026 — a meaningful morning of community, connection, and giving back! This elevated shopping experience will feature 30+ incredible local vendors, complimentary brunch bites, specialty lattes for the first 100 registered guests, and our beautifully curated “Spring Edit” Dream Closet Collab showcasing styled seasonal looks. Guests can also upgrade their experience with a limited-spot VIP Early Access + Morning Flow Yoga session led by Destiny Hurst of Bell Fitness.
While attendance is free, we kindly ask guests to register in advance to unlock special event-day perks. Throughout the morning, raffle ticket sales will serve as the primary fundraiser for Mariah’s Miracle, with stunning vendor-donated gift baskets and exciting experience prizes awarded every hour.
